Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary is located five kilometers west of Udaipur city, Rajasthan. This wildlife sanctuary surrounds the famous Sajjangarh palace. This palace gives a beautiful view of the ponds of Udaipur and the Aravali hills. The Bansadara mountain attracts every tourist who comes here to see the sunrise and sunrise. Gian Sagar (Big Lake)
Just a few kilometers away in the northeastern direction of Sajjangarh, there is an artificial pond called 'Gian Sagar', known as 'Dhabri Talbadh' or 'Tiger Lake'. This pond was built by Maharana Raj Singh, the erstwhile king of Mewar, in 1664 AD and the pond was named after Mahadev's mother Janadevi. The pond is spread over an area of 125 square miles and has a storage capacity of 400 million cubic feet.
